Default US Offshore Oil Drilling - McCain v. Obama

People are entitled to their opinion, but anyone with an ounce of sense should be able to clearly see that this country cannot take another 4 yrs. of Republican thinking, the only reason most people find all kinds of problems with Obama is because they just can't accept the idea of a black man being in charge of the US, in spite of that McCain is too old, & the amount of pressure that will come with that job will cause him multiple health problems, we must think sensibly, Obama is the best man for the job & yes his wife is an intelligent black woman who supports her man.

Offshore Drilling is a huge issue right now and rightly so. Between the desire to deal with the economic mess that is being spurred by the price of oil and the on-going longer-term concern of global warming, how do we address all of this? The soaring oil prices are affecting the costs of everything from food to gas. There are also significant issues on local and global environmental impact. While there are many issues, we need to look at our next leader and determine which will have the best course of action going forward

i wouldn't know the first thing about all this hoopla as i am just a biker chick, and usually get everything for free Innocent but i found this poll thing of sorts at pollclash and it is interesting how they forming an unofficial debate/poll of sorts about this whole oil drilling thing. anywho, this is what it says in the headline:

"Barack Obama and John McCain have made recent statements on US offshore oil drilling while on the US presidential campaign trail. Listen to..." read the whole story here

I agree about Obama, for his policies and his character. I hope he becomes president or the US and the whole world will miss out on something great. I'm in the UK but I realise that everyone looks towards the US for an example, and with Obama as the icon I believe we can really make a change.

yeah. what most of the world don't realize is that whoever becomes US president this november will have a great impact on everyone else in the world. i personally hate wars and will have nothing for it, and that is probably the main reason why i want obama to win - i want our boys to come back home. there is just too much suffering these days and i just want us to go back to more clinton-like times. he wasn't perfect, but at least no one was having his head decapitated then. not that i know of at least.
