Hi Wilson43, Try this: download DVD Shrink 3.2 it's free, that will convert your files from AVI to a file that is compatable with your DVD player as soon as it is converted it will ask you if you want to burn it to DVD hope this helps good luck.

If you want an avi to work on a dvd player you need to convert the avi file.

This can be done by using a program called convertxtoDVD its very simple and also burns the file to the dvd for you.

Yes, use ConvertXtoDVD; it is essentially noob-proof.

If you're using OS X, I highly suggest VisualHub

Default My usual program

I use DVDFlick, but it is a bit slow & resource heavy. I am going to give ConvertXtoDVD a try. See if it is easier on my system. Nice thing about DVDFlick is that it is freeware, or more appropriately donationware.
