Basically he's saying that there is no mention on the system and give asc-law a ring.

Also important is that virgin rep said normally fines are always due in 28 days and not 21 days and you shouldnt write your credit card number.

Hi, Just been reading through this thread as I to have recieved a letter today claiming I downloaded a game Two Worlds. The information in the letter, ei. software (plus version) used, file downloaded, IP address, date & time are very specific, although I have no recolection of downloading the file. Only different thing I read here is that my ISP is sky.com and most who have posted here are virgin users. Personally I do think this is a scam, but as some have already said, how do they have so much of MY information, that is the scary part. I will be glued to this thread over the comming days thats for sure, so any info anyone can throw on this would be greatly appreciated

I too have been acused of Two worlds and i am on Sky, i too have wondered about how he found the information.

However as posted earlier, the company ACS Law are no longer trading as they were disolved last month and have been filing dormant accounts since 2006 you will not get to speak to Andrew

I to have had one of these letters this morning regarding Infringement of Copyright Two Worlds. They are apparently using a third party company called Logistep to obtain your details. It appears that in some countries the way they do this is illegal not sure about uk law. (not sure if i am allowed to link to other web pages if not let me know will remove following link) TorrentFreak | Torrent News, Torrent Sites and the latest Scoops do a search for Logistep on here and there is loads of info. I think we need to speak to a solicitor about it because it is legit threat even if the way they obtained your details might not be.
