Hi there,
I haven't got any ideas, but I was wondering if you ever got a solution
as I would like to do the same thing. Cheers!

the only way to hide your ip address is by using a vpn service but you will have to pay for that and it will reduce your speeds. and i don't think it's worth it. certainly not until they actually start shutting people down, because i'm pretty sure its just a proposal at the moment, and not until you get at least one warning

as the above poster stated the only way to hide your ip is via vpn, there is a list here VPN Software Top Free Downloads of free vpn software available (well some) but as said it wil reduce your speeds and also a lot of private trackers are difficult to get from doing it via vpn

There are other ways to keep safe aswell though i.e ip filtering and blocking there is good info on this site here Optimize BitTorrent To Outwit Traffic Shaping ISPs - Wired How-To Wiki you can also use many block lists that will keep you safe for example theres (PeerGuardian, Bluetack, and Trusty Files) just google any one of them and you will get some great info.

also here IP filtering with uTorrent there is some good info on ip filtering

Just to clarify:
First of all it hasn't become law yet - there are still some privacy-oriented MPs battling the bill.
Secondly, they don't disconnect you without a warning - I think they're gonna use a policy similar ot the three-strikes policy enacted in France.

Plus, to correct riley (for like the first time ever, lol):
There are several free VPN services out there, although many of them are either limited or contai nadvertisements.
My suggestion is to find a nice, easy and reliable VPN service that iant too expensive and then cough up. It completely shields your torrent traffic, so the amount of money you save on downloading movies instead of buying them more than adequately covers up the cost of the VPN service!

A list of free VPN services I suggest you check out can be found here: Top 5 Free VPN Services - AlwaysVPN, Best Free VPN, Free OpenVPN Server, Free SSL Supported VPN, Free Ssl VPN Server, free virtual private network, Free VPN Proxy, Free VPN Server, Free VPN Server Software, Free VPN Server Windows, Free VPN Service,
