HELP! Want to Seed from my FTP. POSSIBLE??

I have a medium knowledge of torrent.
(Azureus - os x)
want to create torrent and have it 24/7 on my ftp.
is this possible?
If so HOW?

If you just want to create the torrent and upload it to your FTP, then do so. It's no harder then that, but make sure to add trackers (if you do not run your own).

Even if it's possible, I don't see any point in doing that. It would be simpler to just let people download directly from your ftp, or you can post a torrent file somewhere which will let people download from you when you have a torrent client open.

i am trying to find out if it can be downloaded from an ftp without me being online and have my torrent client open.

if it as ez to make the torrent file and put it on my ftp site then i'll do that all the time so the files are avail and seeding 24/7

Ah ok. I thought you meant you wanted to host the .torrent file (instead of the data). Well that sounds like a good idea but I don't know if it's possible.

utorrent supports web seeds

when you create the .torrent you can add the url where the file is hosted (only single files are supported atm)

It works with fttp, but I'm pretty sute that it supports ftp as well
