Newbie Need Help

Im new to the World of Torrents, My avi files show no video, only audio do i need a special player for torrent avi files?

You are probably missing the proper codecs. I'd recommend you install the K-Lite Codec Pack, it will allow you to play all the most popular formats.

Free-Codecs.com : Download K-Lite Codec Pack 4.8.0 FULL, K-Lite Codec Pack 4.8.0 STANDARD, K-Lite Codec Pack 4.8.0 BASIC : K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools

The 'standard' pack will probably be best for you.

Or try VLC, is has all the required codecs built in.

Yeah, get the K-lite pack and your set for life... Been using K-lite for awhile now and they wont fail ya.

I had the same problem, and was trying to play through both KLite MPClassic as well as VLC. What did it for me was getting the divx codec from DivX Downloads | DivX.com
