This is my first go at being active in a forum; I don't even know how to make my posts go where I want them to. Also new to p2p activities. Many years of drinking though -- and my last post was for Greg who I think said he lives in Norway and was born in either: St.Pierre or Miquelon. We also cracked a french-canadian beer for St Jean Baptiste Day. More a tribute to our love of beer than a political statement, but still...

Hello, I decided to see what this forum was all about. In any case, I am Roze, and so often is it that in other forums, we get caught up in arguments relating to file-sharing and copyright, and unfortunately, in this case, I am the only one to argue in favor of file-sharing:
FSTDT Forums: fuck, I give up Can anyone here help me argue my point to those people? I am just thinking here, “wow, these people are real ignorant, thinking that the rights holder should have absolute control over distribution, pricing, derivative works, public performance, etc., denying that they really have that much control, thinking that it is all about the money incentive, thinking that it is stealing, etc.” Perhaps we need to go out to places and just argue with people. It would do good to change people's opinions.

I'm from Bangladesh and most ISPs here block torrents for occult reasons. My ISP is one of the few who has some loopholes in the security system, so I can actually use torrents(in a roundabout way). By the time copyright laws get implemented here I'd be bidding my time in my grave, so I'm living quite a happy life I mean, the Ministry of Arts just hung a signboard in front of their office saying "Please help us stop piracy". That's it.
