To The Best Of My Knowledge, No-one In This House Has Ever Been A Bittorrent Client. It's Possible That My Son May Have Done Something, Although I Doubt It As He Has Been Read The Riot Act, And Aside From Being 17 At The Time Of The Alledged Offence (january 2008) Is Travelling In India And Is Out Of Contact, So I Can't Ask Him. I Am A Software Engineer, And I Know How I Can Fake An Ip Address, So My First Thought Is That I Am The Victim Of Such A Scam That Could Potentially Have Landed Me In A Lot Of Hot Water.
This All Seems To Have Gone Quiet Since Last Year - I Can't Find Anyone Else Who Has Had A Similar Letter Recently. I'd Like To Know How Others Have Dealt With This Situation Before.
Please Help. I'm Terrified That I'm Going To Be Ruined.
